Established in 2002, Nexvu Capital is a boutique venture capital & merchant banking firm focused on the development, management and finance of emerging private and public companies engaged in the natural resource and technology sectors.
Our model is to provide portfolio companies with significant operational, commercial and technical resources, complemented with capital. In classic venture-capital style, the investments and emerging businesses are nurtured and guided as management teams are built, projects are advanced, and value is realized. Nexvu Capital managers will form a partnership with the founders and key staff to maximize a company's opportunities. Traditionally we take an equity position between 20 - 40% and require board representation. Nexvu Capital invests with a long-term view, holding positions for years.
Additionally, we may acquire strategic interests in projects, and will invest in producing, or near-term production assets, through equity or provision of debt capital. We may choose to warehouse or rapidly advance through aggressive and targeted investments
